Then you should see its settings.To help with that the newer JasperReports libraries have a feature called style templates - with that you can have an independent file with the style settings and include it from both reports (main and sub).I am not sure if that works with the JasperReports version in iDempiere 2.0. I work much with that feature in my own (new and actual) Jasper Plugin. I met a pdf display issue.
My development environment is:
jfreechart-1.0.0-pre1jcommon-1.0.0-pre1iText1.1 and asian fonts jarjasper-report-0.6.3Application server jboss-3-2-6OS is HP-UX.
My report use some chinese charaters both in chart and report text element. My chart can display well in html, but pdf.
Annual Report PdfFor text element I set the fonts as SongTi, and PDF fonts as STSong-Light, PDF encoding is UniGB-UCS2-H(Chinese Simplified). It’s follow the PDF CJK standard. The text element display well both in HTML excel, and PDF format.
For chart, I generated it by jfreechart API in jasper report scriptlet java file, and send to jasper report engine as a JCommonDrawableRenderer object which contain JFreeChart object. I write the chart title, subtitle, lagendlabel as UTF-8 chinese characters directly in scriptlet java file. The chart displayed normally in HTML, but it can’s display chinese characters in PDF.
Then, I tried the jfreechart demo from jasper-report project package in my Windows OS, i modified its scriptlet files, just replaced some english words with Chinese words. It’s displayed in HTML well, but PDF legend can’s display Chinese words. Excel can’s display chart at all.
I post my scriptlet java code follow, and link the jasper-report error PDF print-screen pic.
